Something my maternal grandparents always had, which adorned all their books. I like dusting off the tradition for the joy of graphics as a gift-form, and as an encouragement to lending and cherishing objects (also through the historical trail left), rather than the individualism that could be understood of 'this is mine, get your hands off!'. I find this a particularly interesting avenue to explore in an era of booming personnal branding... Pride can be just as positive as it can be negative. I particularly like simple designs which can easily be turned into a stamp, which I find much more user-friendly.
